This diet, like all other diets claims to be easy yet again. How can you say this? What makes THIS diet easy?

Hi GG, I genuinely believe that this diet is easy to follow.
Do you ever feel hungry? if the answer is Yes then it is THAT easy, this forms the basis of the diet. The Birchall Diet is based on the "hunger sensation" and if you are feeling hungry you are losing weight, it really is THAT easy !!! You don't starve, you don't need to monitor every calory or point, you just "listen to your body" and it will indicate very clearly when and what to eat. All you have to do is to keep your portion size down. It really is easy, give it a try. Most people comment that it doesn't even feel like you are dieting. Birchall Diet is really good diet because in this diet you can come out your weight loss when you want and you also take a break from this diet when you want. I think it is very safe and simple to understand, you can easily able to control your weight through this diet.

HI,
It sounds like you have grasped the concepts of the diet very well.
There are many advantages to this diet, mainly due to the fact that it focusses on giving you CONTROL of your weight, rather than just mandating that you follow strict instructions.
I explains the recomendations and so, as you say, enables you to decide what to do and when and allows you to have an normal enjoyable life rather than torturing you.
I am sure that you, like everyone else, will find this works well and, most importantly, works for ever! rather than just a "crash diet".
Thank you so much for taking the time to post these topics to the forum, it is very helpful to me (I really do feel very happy when people tell me that it makes sense and it helps) and to others that might be considering trying the diet.
Please do keep us informed of your progress.
Thanks and have fun Edited by The Author - 02 Apr 2010 at 9:32am |

First of all, I would like to acquaint you about low calorie diets and
way they don't work. A low calorie diet is a diet that allows 600 to
1000 calories or even beneath in a day. Of advance it will advice you
to lose weigh, but this is a acting effect. You go off your low calorie
diet and achieve the weight you accept lost. So don't decay your time.
If you absolutely wish to lose weight and not to achieve it later, you
should try a new diet.

Hi Barnabassmith,
If you have read the Birchall Diet or any of the reviews etc. you will see that I clearly state that I believe that low calorie diets are bot good diets.
Nobody can tell you that X number of calories is right for you, because we all have days where we are more active than others and so our calorie requirements also change daily.
I am also sure that most of the diets that use calorie counting fail because it is impossible to tell how many calories are in everything that we eat and why should you have to calculate this each time.
The Birchall diet works without calorie counting and relies on the body's own skills to tell us when we need to eat. We just need to "listen" to the signals that our body gives us and react correctly to those signlas.
I really don't like diets that are based on calorie counting.
Also have you seen how they calculate the calories in the food? THEY BURN IT !!!
They dry the food or drink and burn the residue and then measure the heat. Are they seriously saying that this gives us ANY indication of what that food will do to us when we eat it? Our bodies do not BURN the food it processes it (and not always all of it)
So calories (in my view) are a terrible way to determine what to eat and when.

Diet is the helpful to maintain the health and to increase the energy power. The reason is that it increase the power of the digestion and immunity. Another thing is that due to the diet it helps to habit about taking the meal.
